Day 1
When you arrive at the farm in Mysinge on Öland at 2:00 PM, we’ll start with a cozy coffee break together before taking the halters in hand and fetching our very own horses. We’ll begin with an introduction on how to properly put on the halter, and then the horse will kindly follow us to be groomed, tacked up, and saddled.

Our first ride will be a delightful long ride, where with the help of the leaders riding alongside us, we’ll learn how to stop, steer, and tölta. We’ll enjoy our dinner at McKvarnbacka, soaking in the beautiful sunset, before eventually continuing our ride back home. Once we’re back, we’ll make a quick stop at Kvarnboden (the kiosk) for anyone craving a treat, then head to our accommodation for a much-needed rest.

Day 2
On the second day, we’re up with the rooster, and a delightful breakfast is set out to get us ready for a full-day trip to the beach. We’ll pack our swimwear in the cook’s car along with the luxurious lunch, and our pockets will be filled with extra treats to keep our energy up throughout the day..

After riding ourselves tired, we’ll arrive at the beach where we’ll have lunch, and those eager to swim can take a dip. But the horses also want to cool off their hooves, so before heading home, we’ll ride them into the water to let them splash and play a bit too.

In the evening, once the horses are back in the pasture, we’ll treat ourselves to a real feast with the farm’s Taco buffet, cheese platter, and foal snuggles as the sun sets.

Day 3
Now that we’ve finally learned where the hens lay their eggs, we help each other collect them before enjoying a cozy breakfast together. Once everyone is full and satisfied, we saddle up our horses for one last ride, this time across Öland’s Alvar.

When we return, we say goodbye to the horses, exchange addresses, hug, and finally head home around 3:00 PM, happy but tired, after three wonderful days at Kvarnbacka in Mysinge.
